Valery Andreevich Klinchev

Valery Andreevich was born on the 3d of January 1960 in Bashkiria. He graduated from Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after Ivan Gubkin in 1989. V.A. Klinchev graduated from The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) with the qualification of Top Manager in 1998. He was working at Komineft JSC from 1989 to 1998 where he worked his way up starting from a Geologist to a Production Director.
V.A. Klinchev headed Tebukneft JSC in 1998. He continued his career at Ukhtaneftegazgeologiya FSUE as First Deputy General Director in 2000. He was a member of the State Council of the Komi Republic (1999 – 2000). Valery Andreevich was invited to Zarubezhneft JSC in 2003 where he held various management positions. He was appointed first Vice-President, and then elected General Director of RMNTK Nefteotdacha JSC in 2004. V.A. Klinchev was appointed General Director of the joint Russian-Vietnamese company Rusvietpetro in 2008. Valery Andreevich took the post of Deputy General Director for Production of Zarubezhneft JSC in 2010 and worked in this position until 2014 when he again headed JK Rusvietpetro LLC. He was awarded the medal of the Order For Services to the Fatherland of the 2d degree, the titles Honored Oilman and Honored Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex, and the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Russia. Valery Andreevich was awarded the Order of Friendship of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2009 and the Order of Labor of the 3d degree in 2014 for his great contribution to the development of the oil and gas industry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the strengthening of its cooperation with Russia.
